Carlos the owner is a fantastic human being. On top of that the food it top notch and if great food and perfect service isn't for you. The bourbon selection and pricing is unearthly. There no place I would rather go in KY.

Food was hot and delicious. Service could have been a little better but she wasn't horrible either. Just a little slow

Saturday 6pm, we were taken to a table right away. Our waitress Estrella was there immediately as were the chips and salsa. The food was excellant! Being from Arizona we are always hesitant to go for Mexican. But this.place could rival many of out Mexican establishments. Great service, awesome food, and the top shelf. margarita, was top shelf!!

Food and service are sporadic. Last night's visit had decent service, but the food... well... definitely had better there. Fajitas were scorched. Burritos tasted of nothing but char from the grill. The chicken nachos were ok.

Inconsistent. Can be really good one time and meh the next. This time was meh. They are very nice though.

The restaurant has a very nice decor with lots of woodcarved furniture. The tables could be a little larger for some extra elbow room. We ordered drinks and my pregnant wife ordered a virgin margarita but was actually served one with alcohol, which we had to return. Other than that, complimentary chips and salsa was good and food was average but at a decent price.

BEAUTIFUL Mexican place. Incredible wood carvings on doors and furniture!! Went mid afternoon (empty) service was great, food was great (lunch special Chilles rellenos w a taco $6 bucks I think!👍) so prices were also great! and atmosphere is gorgeous!! Beautiful for a date night, great for families or big groups as they have HUGE tables and booths!! I'm picky about my Mexican food and this was good but not the real, traditional rellenos. See my other reviews of Mexican places in Bardstown. Atmosphere here IS better for ambience but food at Mi Lindo on Bloomfield Rd is way better, more authentic!! She makes me MY own "plate" of EXACTLY what I want!! (When chilles rellenos ARE available-CALL ahead! Soo worth it!! Trust me!!) THEE REAL deal, as if I'm IN Cancun again!!😍 (Okay, I've gone sideways😂Sorry) So depending on what's more important to you is where YOU should decide to go!! I do recommend either one!!😊👍🌻🌻🌻

I had take out. Ordered two Molcajete (chicken and Jalisco). Both very tasty and didn't take long to get my order. I have eaten here before. Tasty and the price was good.

We loved the food. Also the portion sizes ensure you have another meal or two for later. I ordered the chile Verde, my friend ordered the steak burrito (huge):)and my other friend ordered a chicken dish. We all left very happy and full.

Place was not busy, we have been to eat here before but this time was not enjoyable. 1st Waitress 😐did not put down the right food order, 3 times we said what food item was wanted.2nd waitress😊 corrected the order Was very nice in getting the right food brought to the table.But neither brought the entree that we asked for. Everyone has their off days.

We rented the back room to honor the military in our family and the room, food and staff were wonderful. Highly recommend for lunch, dinner or a special gathering!!

This place is FANTASTIC! Not only do you walk into a great environment, filled with lively welcoming staff, but their furniture is just beautiful! Great service, great time, plus you can't beat the 16 dollar pitcher of margaritas!!! Would rate 10 Stars if I could for Diego #1 and Diego #2, you two make that place for what it is!

We usually enjoy the food here but decided to go with something different like a steak and salmon.Bad idea- The steak was ordered med. but was over cooked to the point is was very difficult to cut and the salmon was burned and also over cooked.A disappointing evening out at the local La Herradura.

Not bad, but definitely not great. The wife ordered some kind of burrito, and said it was good. I of course ordered what I al was says do, when I find myself at a Mexican restaurant. Carne asada tacos, of course! I'm a traditionalist, old school, even. I like my tacos on corn tortillas, these came with flour. The meat was seasoned good, and was tender. It just wasn't wow, good.I really liked how the restaurant was decorated, and the waiter was good. I would definitely return!!

Went for lunch on a Friday. Waiter was rude, didnt understand anything we said and got our order wrong. He took forever and quite frankly their food wasnt any good. Cold when it arrived and wasnt worth the money I paid. I will not go back here again. When your ready to check out they have you basically check yourself out and it takes forever. 15 mins waiting in line to pay!!

Omg it's do good and got our food super fast, as always. One of my fave places in town!

Food was tasty, service was fast. Had to download an app to view the menu which was a bummer. Waitress kept asking for our order and we kept saying we were downloading the app to get the menu. Tables and chairs were made from real wood, very heavy. Used the bathroom and the small stall the door opened in not giving me room to stand to close the door, same to open it.

Great decor, very friendly staff. Food was a little salty for my preferences but overall a great experience.

This is one of the best mexican restaurants ever food is really good along with excellent service too.

If you eat here, it's best to go dine in. Don't try to order delivery or carryout because he will be waiting for a while.

Food tasted good but it’s made poorly. I would call this Mexican America the nachos were more loaded with peppers and onions then tortilla chips and so was the Mexican pizza. This is very disappointing
